3 / 224 page ![]() TMP93CS44/S45 2004-02-10 93CS44-1 Low Voltage/Low Power CMOS 16-bit Microcontrollers TMP93CS44F/TMP93CS45F 1. Outline and Device Characteristics The TMP93CS44/TMP93CS45 are high-speed, advanced 16-bit microcontrollers developed for controlling medium to large-scale equipment. The TMP93CS45 does not have a ROM, the TMP93CS44 has a built-in ROM. Otherwise, the devices function in the same way. The TMP93CS44F/TMP93CS45F are housed in 80-pin flat package (P-LQFP80-1212-0.50E). The device characteristics are as follows: (1) Original 16-bit CPU (900/L CPU) • TLCS-90 instruction mnemonic upward compatible • 16-Mbyte linear address space • General-purpose registers and register bank system • 16-bit multiplication/division and bit transfer/arithmetic instructions • Micro DMA: 4 channels (1.6 µs per 2 bytes at 20 MHz) (2) Minimum instruction execution time: 200 ns at 20 MHz (3) Internal RAM: 2 Kbytes Internal ROM: (4) External memory expansion • Can be expanded up to 16 Mbytes (for both programs and data) • AM8/ ΑΜ16 pin (Select the external data bus width) • Can mix 8- and 16-bit external data buses (Dynamic bus sizing) (5) 8-bit timer: 4 channels (6) 16-bit timer: 2 channels TMP93CS44 64-Kbyte ROM TMP93CS45 None Purchase of TOSHIBA I2C components conveys a license under the Philips I2C Patent Rights to use these components in an I2C system, provided that the system conforms to the I2C Standard Specification as defined by Philips. • The information contained herein is subject to change without notice. • The information contained herein is presented only as a guide for the applications of our products.
