6.16 Oscillator
6.16.1 Oscillator Modes
The eKTF6708 can be operated in the one oscillator mode, i.e., Internal RC oscillator
mode (IRC). Users need to set the main-oscillator modes by selecting the OSC0, and set
sub-oscillator modes by selecting the FSS in the Code Option register to complete the
overall oscillator mode setting.

6.16.2 Internal RC Oscillator Mode
The eKTF6708 offers a versatile internal RC mode with default frequency value of
4 MHz. The Internal RC oscillator mode has other frequencies (8 MHz, 12 MHz and 16
MHz) that can be set by Code Option; RCM1~RCM0. The Table below describes a typical
drift rate of the calibration.
