APPLICATION INFORMATION

2.1

System Configuration Pins

The I/O pins, P2_0, P2_4, and EAN, place the

IS1678S/SM in operation modes. These pins have

internal pull-ups and enables configuration settings and

firmware updation. Table 2-1 provides system configu-

ration setting details.

Control and Indication Pins

The I/O pins, P0_0, P0_5, P1_7, P3_1, P3_2, P3_3,

P3_4, and P3_7, are configuration control and indica-

tion signal pins. The control signals are input to the

IS1678S/SM and the Indication signals are output from

the IS1678S/SM. Table 2-2 provides the default I/O pin

configuration details.

Note 1:

The RTS and CTS pins are fixed and cannot be configured while using the flow control, or else these pins

can be configured as GPIOs.

The RTS pin can only be assigned to P0_0 pin and the CTS pin can only be assigned to P1_7.
