A/D Flash MCU with EEPROM

Single Pulse Output Mode

Toselectthismode,bitsPTM1andPTM0inthePTMC1registershouldbesetto10respectively

andalsothePTIO1andPTIO0bitsshouldbesetto11respectively.TheSinglePulseOutputMode,

asthenamesuggests,willgenerateasingleshotpulseonthePTMoutputpin.

ThetriggerforthepulseoutputleadingedgeisalowtohightransitionofthePTONbit,which

canbeimplementedusingtheapplicationprogram.HoweverintheSinglePulseOutputMode,the

PTONbitcanalsobemadetoautomaticallychangefromlowtohighusingtheexternalPTCKpin,

whichwillinturninitiatetheSinglePulseoutput.WhenthePTONbittransitionstoahighlevel,the

counterwillstartrunningandthepulseleadingedgewillbegenerated.ThePTONbitshouldremain

highwhenthepulseisinitsactivestate.Thegeneratedpulsetrailingedgewillbegeneratedwhen

thePTONbitisclearedtozero,whichcanbeimplementedusingtheapplicationprogramorwhena

comparematchoccursfromComparatorA.

HoweveracomparematchfromComparatorAwillalsoautomaticallyclearthePTONbitandthus

generatetheSinglePulseoutputtrailingedge.InthiswaytheCCRAvaluecanbeusedtocontrolthe

pulsewidth.AcomparematchfromComparatorAwillalsogenerateaPTMinterrupt.Thecounter

canonlyberesetbacktozerowhenthePTONbitchangesfromlowtohighwhenthecounter

restarts.IntheSinglePulseOutputModeCCRPisnotused.ThePTCCLRisnotusedinthisMode.
