29 / 100 page  The power consumption of the device can be reduced by turning off the A/D converter, To switch off the A/D converter the CONF_REG2(0) bit must be reset to ”0”. The A/D Converter features a sample and hold. The input voltage Ain, which has to be converted must be constant, for 12.8 µs. An internal bandgap reference is available on pin 44, BG. By using this signal as reference for the signal to be converted, the conversion accuracy is not strongly related with the variation of the power supply. The power supply of the A/D converter (AVDD and AVSS ) in order to avoid interferences is mantained separated from the power supply of the digital core.
