The effective resistance of the pass resistors should be approximately 0.5

Ω and have a combined

power dissipation rating of 0.5 Watts for the 82563EB. Figure 5 shows the recommended

implementation.

Note:

No resistors are required for the 82564EB as shown in Figure 6 due to the reduction in current

demand. See Figure 4.9 for more details regarding power consumption.
