I2C Operation

ThedevicesupportsI2Cserialinterface.TheI2Cbusisforbidirectional,two-linecommunicationbetween

differentICsormodules.Thetwolinesareaserialdataline,SDA,andaserialclockline,SCL.Bothlinesare

connectedtothepositivesupplyviapull-upresistorswithatypicalvalueof4.7KΩ.Whenthebusisfree,both

linesarehigh.Devicesconnectedtothebusmusthaveopen-drainoropen-collectoroutputstoimplementawired-

orfunction.Datatransferisinitiatedonlywhenthebusisnotbusy.

Data validity

ThedataontheSDAlinemustbestableduringthehighperiodoftheserialclock.Thehighorlowstateofthe

datalinecanonlychangewhentheclocksignalontheSCLlineisLowasshowninthediagram.
