Compatibility S-BUS/I
2CBUS
Using the S-BUS protocol it is possible to implement
mixed system including S-BUS/I
2CBUS bus peripher-
als. In order to have the compatibility with the I
2CBUS
peripherals,the devicesincludingthe S-BUS interface
must have their SDA and SEN pins connected to-
gether as shown in the following Figure 46 (a and b).
It is also possible to use mixed S-BUS/I
2CBUS pro-
tocols as showed in Figure 46 (c). S-BUS peripherals
will only react to S-BUS protocol signals, while
I
2CBUS peripherals will only react to I2CBUS sig-
nals. Multimaster configuration is not possible with
the ST6369 SPI (single master only).
