External Interrupt

TheexternalinterruptsarecontrolledbysignaltransitionsonthepinsINT0,INT1.Anexternal

interruptrequestwilltakeplacewhentheexternalinterruptrequestflags,INT0F,INT1F,areset,

whichwilloccurwhenatransition,whosetypeischosenbytheedgeselectbits,appearsonthe

externalinterruptpins.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,the

globalinterruptenablebit,EMI,andrespectiveexternalinterruptenablebit,INT0E,INT1E,must

firstbeset.AdditionallythecorrectinterruptedgetypemustbeselectedusingtheINTEGregisterto

enabletheexternalinterruptfunctionandtochoosethetriggeredgetype.Astheexternalinterrupt

pinsarepin-sharedwithI/Opins,theycanonlybeconfiguredasexternalinterruptpinsiftheir

externalinterruptenablebitinthecorrespondinginterruptregisterhasbeenset.Thepinmustalso

besetupasaninputbysettingthecorrespondingbitintheportcontrolregister.Whentheinterrupt

isenabled,thestackisnotfullandthecorrecttransitiontypeappearsontheexternalinterruptpin,

asubroutinecalltotheexternalinterruptvector,willtakeplace.Whentheinterruptisserviced,the

externalinterruptrequestflags,INT0F,INT1F,willbeautomaticallyresetandtheEMIbitwillbe

automaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterrupts.Notethatanypull-highresistorselectionsonthe

externalinterruptpinswillremainvalidevenifthepinisusedasanexternalinterruptinput.The

INTEGregisterisusedtoselectthetypeofactiveedgethatwilltriggertheexternalinterrupt.A

choiceofeitherrisingorfallingorbothedgetypescanbechosentotriggeranexternalinterrupt.

NotethattheINTEGregistercanalsobeusedtodisabletheexternalinterruptfunction.

OVP Interrupt

AnOVPInterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhentheOverVoltageProtectionInterruptrequestflag,

OVPF,isset,whichoccurswhentheOverVoltageProtectionfunctiondetectsanovervoltage

condition.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,theglobal

interruptenablebit,EMI,andOverVoltageProtectionInterruptenablebit,mustfirstbeset.When

theinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandanovervoltageconditionoccurs,asubroutinecall

totheOVPInterruptvector,willtakeplace.WhentheOverVoltageProtectionInterruptisserviced,

theEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterruptsandtheinterruptrequestflag

willbealsoautomaticallycleared.

OCP Interrupt

AnOCPInterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhentheOverCurrentProtectionInterruptrequestflag,

OCPF,isset,whichoccurswhentheOverCurrentProtectionfunctiondetectsanovercurrent

condition.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,theglobal

interruptenablebit,EMI,andOverCurrentProtectionInterruptenablebit,mustfirstbeset.When

theinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandanovercurrentconditionoccurs,asubroutinecall

totheOCPInterruptvector,willtakeplace.WhentheOverCurrentProtectionInterruptisserviced,
