WhentherequirededgetransitionappearsontheTP0_0orTP0_1pinthepresentvalueinthe counterwillbelatchedintotheCCRAregistersandaTMinterruptgenerated.Irrespectiveofwhat eventsoccurontheTP0_0orTP0_1pinthecounterwillcontinuetofreerununtiltheTnONbit changesfromhightolow.WhenaCCRPcomparematchoccursthecounterwillresetbacktozero; inthiswaytheCCRPvaluecanbeusedtocontrolthemaximumcountervalue.WhenaCCRP comparematchoccursfromComparatorP,aTMinterruptwillalsobegenerated.Countingthe numberofoverflowinterruptsignalsfromtheCCRPcanbeausefulmethodinmeasuringlong pulsewidths.TheTnIO1andTnIO0bitscanselecttheactivetriggeredgeontheTP0_0orTP0_1 pintobearisingedge,fallingedgeorbothedgetypes.IftheTnIO1andTnIO0bitsarebothset high,thennocaptureoperationwilltakeplaceirrespectiveofwhathappensontheTP0_0orTP0_1 pin,howeveritmustbenotedthatthecounterwillcontinuetorun.
