APPLICATION INFORMATION
6.1
Power Supply
Figure 6-1 illustrates the PCB connection from the
BAT_IN pin to other voltage supply pins of the IS2063
SoC. The IS2063 SoC is powered through the BAT_IN
input pin. If battery is not connected, an external power
supply must be provided as an input to the ADAP_IN
pin.

Note:
When an external power supply is
connected to the ADAP_IN pin, the
BAT_IN pin can be left open if battery is
not connected.
