8.1.2 Balanced Performance

This design showcases a balanced performance configuration. The differential recieve has very strong

perforamnce in the presense of 5G base stations where SAW fillters may not be needed in certain usecases.

The balanced performance design also utilizes the full capabilties of the high efficiency RF amplier achieving the

full 16dBm of transmit power available.

• Robust receive in presence of 5G

• Low current transmit (+16dBm transmit power)

• Low external Bill of Materials (eBOM)

8.1.3 Lowest external Bill of Material (eBOM)

This design showcases the lowest practical component count design that the transciever supports. The complete

external bill-of-materials (eBOM) totals approximately: 12 RF passives, decoupling capacitors and an optional

DCDC inductor.

• Lowest eBOM (+14dBm TX)

• Lowest transmit current for application targeting 10dBm output power.

• Lowest receive current (uLNA is disabled)

8.1.4 Long Range low external Bill of Material

This design delivers the minimum achievable external eBOM for a +22 dBm Sub-GHz solution by eliminating

the external RF switch through a switchless dual-PA architecture. The result is a cost-optimized, long-range

reference design with no sacrifice in transmit performance.

• +22 dBm maximum TX power with a switchless architecture

• Robust in the presence of 5G base stations

• Long-range capability at minimum BOM cost — no performance trade-off required
