In this example, the target half-load and full-load efficiencies are 96% and 94%, respectively, based on a nominal input voltage of 13.5V that ranges from 6.5V to 36V. The switching frequency is set at 440kHz by resistor RRT. The 5V output provides bias power to reduce IC power dissipation and improve efficiency.
