PROBLEM SOLVING AND SPECIAL APPLICATION CARTRIDGE

Problem solving and special application

cartridge for extraordinary water conditions

Demineralizing water filter for water with

high mineral content

Sanitary cartridge replacement is simple,

quick and clean. Internal filter parts are

never exposed to handling

or contamination

Removes total dissolved solids (TDS) by

using a mix of cation and anion resin

Especially useful on low capacity flash

steamers and warmers that are not

emptied each day

Reduces scale buildup

APPLICATIONS

FEATURES • BENEFITS

Install vertically with cartridge

hanging down

Allow 2-1/2" (6.35 cm) clearance below the

cartridge for easy cartridge replacement

Flush cartridge by running water through

filter for three (3) minutes at full flow

Use plastic tubing after DM cartridge

Change cartridges on a regular six (6)

month preventative maintenance program

Change cartridges when capacity is

reached or when pressure falls below

10 psi (0.7 bar)

Always flush the filter cartridge at time of

installation and cartridge change

Service Flow Rate: Maximum 0.5 gpm

(1.9 Lpm)

Capacity: 1,600 grains or 103,000 ppm*

*To determine cartridge life, divide total capacity of

cartridge (1,600 grains or 103,000 mg) by the TDS

in grains per gallon (gpg) or milligrams per liter

(ppm), respectively.
