DESCRIPTION

The MP8758H is a fully integrated, high-

frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down

converter. It offers a very compact solution to

achieve a 10A output current with excellent load

and line regulation over a wide input supply

range.

The MP8758H employs a constant-on-time

(COT) control scheme, which provides fast

transient response and eases loop stabilization.

The COT control scheme provides a seamless

transition into PFM mode at light-load operation,

which boosts light-load efficiency.

An open-drain power good signal indicates that

the output voltage is within its nominal voltage

range.

Full protection features include over-current

protection (OCP), over-voltage and under-voltage

protection (OVP, UVP), and thermal shutdown.

The MP8758H requires a minimal number of

readily available, external components and is

available in a QFN-21 (3mmx4mm) package.
